Star Autism Support takes responsibilities under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) seriously. These federal laws regulate privacy and protect sensitive data in education systems.  For educators located in the United States, Customer is and shall be responsible for complying with FERPA and COPPA. To the extent that Star Autism Support has access to “education records” as defined by FERPA, any such access will only be for “legitimate educational interests” and subject to the “direct control” of the school district. Please note that all STAR Autism Support products are teacher directed and students do not maintain logins, nor should they access the content independently.
